Experience the addictively delicious taste of Vietnamese shaken beef! This deep savory marinade is made with seasoned soy sauce paired with rich oyster sauce. Packed with umami and bursting with bold Asian flavor, it’s guaranteed to leave you craving for more. This marinade is traditionally enjoyed with cubed steak over a bed of rice or salad, a dish otherwise known as “bò lúc lắc”. It’s also the perfect way to shake up your chicken dishes!

 

 

 

 

PREP: Cut steak of your choice into 1 inch cubes. (sirloin, ribeye, or filet mignon recommended).

MARINATE: Mix beef and marinade together in a large bowl and marinate for 10 minutes up to 4 hours. 1 tbsp for every 8 oz of meat.

SAUTEE: Preheat pan to high heat and add 1 tbsp of oil. Add meat and sear on all sides by shaking the pan until beef is medium rare.

BUTTER: For the most authentic flavor, add a tablespoon of butter to the pan and mix before removing from heat for a richer sauce.

* TIP: Make sure not to overcrowd the pan! Shaken beef is best cooked in small batches.

Shaken beef deliciousness

This marinade is a deep rich delicious flavor you could use on any meat imo!! I used it on some ribeyes and it just put them over the top, probably the best ribeyes I ever tasted. Will definitely be reordering and putting in my rotation for my next batch of jerky I’m making!! Wish I could give it 10 stars it’s that good boi

Marinade of the year!

Many years ago, I tried to recreate my favorite Vietnamese dish “Bo Luc Lac” from a YouTube tutorial and lemme tell ya, it left me so devastated by the LAC-LUC-STER results that I lost all of my motivation to recreate it again.

When Phamily launched their sauce, I was curious how making it a second time would taste at home. Normally, I prefer to make my sauces from scratch but I’m going to have to make this one an exception because this marinade left me feeling like I was able to take on the world!!!!

I can’t believe I’ve had this dish 3 times in a row now in the last 24 hours. Beware, it’s highly addictive. Don't judge my beef, I'm a WELL DONE kinda gal.

Elevating My Meals

I recently used the Shaken Beef Marinade to marinate chicken, and I must say, I was impressed with how quickly it arrived. I couldn't wait to try it out with my chicken served over white rice. When I opened the bottle, the amazing aroma just heightened my excitement. After marinating the chicken, the result was amazing! My kids loved it, and I am almost done with my first bottle already. Although this review is a bit late, I just had to share how much I enjoyed using this marinade. It added so much flavor to the chicken and was super easy to use. Needless to say, I will definitely be ordering more soon.

¡¡Sazonaso!! But in Vietnamese!!

This sauce just powered up my whole repertoire of Asian cuisine. It’s the missing piece of the puzzle for us Vietnamese-food lovers trying to make stuff at home. It’s delicious!! It’s great as a stand-alone dipping sauce, as well as a full marinade. I threw it in my stir-fry today and definitely gave it the umami I was previously missing. Paired real well with a ponzu-soy sauce mix I threw together, too. 100% great stuff Phamily.
