VIETNAMESE SHAKEN BEEF RECIPE

@phamilybrand In the mood for a deliciously savory steak dish that’s loaded with garlic? Here’s how you make shaken beef with garlic and onion! For this dish, you will need: steak, Phamily Brand shaken beef marinade, garlic, onion, and salted butter. Quantities are not specific, you can eyeball based on how much steak you have on hand!

1. Cut up your steak into 1 inch cubes. We are using about 2 pounds of ribeye, but filet mignon or tri-tip are great cuts to use as well.

2. Chop up some garlic. You can use as little or as much as your heart desires.

3. Pour in some Phamily Brand marinade! Use a generous amount, enough to coat all of your beef, and mix well. Marinate for at least 10 minutes, up to overnight.

4. While your steak is marinating, cut up some white onion.

5. Heat up your pan on medium high heat and add a splash of oil. Throw on enough beef to cover the pan in a single layer. You will need to cook in batches.

6. Let it sear for about 30 seconds. Then shake the pan to flip the meat, or turn over the pieces individually with tongs to ensure that the meat is seared on all sides.

7. Add your onions, about 1 tbsp of butter, and a splash of Phamily sauce if you like it extra saucy. Adding butter is crucial! Use 1 tbsp per batch of steak.
Continue tossing the beef until butter is combined and steak is medium rare.

8. Serve with white rice and enjoy!
